Andree Martinez

Andree was born in Chihuahua, Chihuahua Mexico and was raised within El Paso, Texas. Her family is full of entertainers. From a very young age Karla (Host on Univision's Despierta America!) and others from the family were close to her. As a young child she was surrounded by television personalities such as her older sister Karla (Host of Univision's Despierta America! Andrew Martinez is vice president of Safety Security and Business Resiliency at Southern California Edison (SCE) which is one of the biggest electric utilities in America. SCE puts a lot of emphasis on safety of its employees, business security, and resilience. Martinez is responsible for providing security leaders throughout the company with the guidance and high-quality training programs that they need to meet their safety group goals. Martinez was the director for Safety Training and Compliance in Transmission & Distribution for SCE prior to his current job. Prior to that, Martinez was the Director of Safety and Compliance for Power Supply and Operational Services. Over the 30-year period working at SCE Martinez was in a variety of positions of leadership in programs that were aimed at improving performance and corrections. These included positions at the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station SONGS which focused on protecting the safety of public and employees.
