Carey was once a popular fashion model. She stands almost 5'10" tall, and was well-liked by top American designers, such as Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren and others. She started modeling part time while she was attending the University of Colorado and caught the attention of an agent of the Ford model Agency in New York.
